My dear friend and neighbor has been teaching me to keep my backyard plants neat and tidy. This afternoon I spent some time cleaning up my fuchsia plant which hangs on the patio. The cuttings are so beautiful. I’m hoping they will take root soon.

The following photos were taken with the iPhone 4S and edited with VSCOCam. I then imported them to the computer and added some minor curve/tint adjustments to a couple of the photos. I’m sure I’ve probably said this before, but I am SO pleased and impressed with the iPhone camera. It makes me happy.

Meet Charlotte

Soon after we bought, Atticus, I knew we needed another dog. He was sad and hated to be left alone. He cried anytime I left the room. I just didn’t realize it would be so soon!

A couple months ago, our breeder – Kate Andre with Hilltop Pocket Beagles, announced that she would be having two litters available this summer. Since we were already planning a roadtrip to see my family in Iowa, we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to drive a little further and pickup one of her little girl puppies. On April 7th, the puppy of our wishes – a girl who looked redish and light colored like her mama, was the last of 10 puppies to make her appearance. We were so excited and are very pleased to welcome her to our family!

BTW, Atticus and Charlotte actually have both different mothers and fathers. And no, we will not be having any puppies of our own! Snip snip!

I thought it would be fun to show a couple pictures of Atticus too. I took this one of them together this morning… The photo below is one of Atticus when he was just two weeks younger than Charlotte is now.
