Winter and Christmas Decorations

Yesterday, Ryan and I returned from our little Thanksgiving mini-holiday and got right to work on the house. Our friend Corey came over to help Ryan in the yard and I started decorating for Christmas. It’s so great having a few conifer trees in our yard. While Ryan was cleaning up the yard, I trimmed a few boughs from the cedar and brought them in for our living room mantle. It’s amazing what Christmas music, fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and a few holiday decorations can do to fill your home with cheer!

I was inspired by Adventures in Pinksugarland to hang this wonderful branch above our couch. I love that it’s from our pear tree in the backyard. I think it adds a nice woodsy, rustic, cozy touch to our living room.

Ryan’s beautiful Nativity Scene.

Our ROOST felt ornaments from one of the lovely little shops we visited in Portland – Red Sail. More on these little pretties in an upcoming post.

My sweet little helper, Atticus. He warms my heart. :-*

Love these!! It reminds me of a sunset magazine Christmas edition from a few years back. I love how its a bit minimalistic, but with 60’s flair!
